Feast, Dance & Celebrate the Spirit of Aloha
A luau is more than a dinner — it's a celebration of the Hawaiian spirit. From the ancient imu ceremony, where a whole pig is slow-roasted underground, to the thundering drums and blazing fire-knife finale, every moment of a luau is steeped in the rich traditions of Polynesia.
No visit to Hawaii is complete without one. Whether you choose a grand beachfront spectacle or an intimate cultural evening, our luau partners deliver an authentic, unforgettable experience for the whole family.
From beachfront spectacles to intimate cultural evenings
Oahu's most celebrated luau experience, set on a private beachfront cove at Ko Olina. Arrive to a traditional imu ceremony where a whole pig is unearthed from an underground oven. Feast on an enormous Hawaiian buffet, enjoy an open bar, and watch world-class Polynesian performers bring the islands to life.
A beloved Oahu tradition for over 40 years. Germaine's offers an intimate, family-friendly luau on a private beach with a generous Hawaiian buffet, open bar, and a spectacular Polynesian show featuring hula, Samoan fire-knife dancing, and Tahitian drum performances.
Experience the magic of a luau right on the sands of Waikiki at the iconic Royal Hawaiian Hotel — the Pink Palace of the Pacific. This upscale evening features a curated Hawaiian menu, premium open bar, and an intimate cultural show with some of Hawaii's most talented performers.
Set in the lush, sacred Waimea Valley on Oahu's North Shore, Chief's Luau blends authentic Hawaiian culture with spectacular entertainment. Guests are welcomed with a traditional conch shell ceremony, enjoy a farm-to-table Hawaiian feast, and witness a breathtaking fire-knife show under the stars.

The imu is a traditional underground oven. A whole pig is wrapped in banana leaves and slow-cooked in the imu for hours. The unearthing ceremony — where the pig is dramatically revealed — is a highlight of most luaus.
